Buckett, 2 pm Sun January 08

The End. - This is the end of this 21 page short story that has taken about 115 hours to make, if not more (3+ hours a page on computer, about 1 hour pencil sketch and 1 hour inking, not counting the whole planning of the thing) .

Michaela missed her chances at saving Angela and now, it's too late to go back. We don't know if she'll break up with Asher, but being the sheep she is she probably won't. As much as it's tempting to feel sorry for Mickey in this last page, can we really? She brought this on herself by giving in time and time again to peer pressure and the trivial demands of a superficial pig. (Asher)

Even though this comic is finished my project isn't and I'll still be needing fanart for another month or so, see the fanart page for details. Critiques and rating is always loved.

I'm sorry about the fanart not being delivered on time, but I've some very, very, VERY important things to do... I'll draw some stuff up, definately. But actually giving you things will have to wait until Monday. You can wait that long, can't you?

(PS: My editor also wants to give stuff. Man, this word-of-mouth thing really works wonders!)

Bye'cha, for now, Buckett

Wow. That's really a great way to end this... I'd like to say this comic gave me a lesson about the importance of being yourself and remaining a true friend, but I dunno if that'd be true at all. ^^; anyway, It's been a great read! And I've enjoyed it. Keep it up!

Great job, Bucket!
I like the abrupt ending. (And the foreshadowing where it looks like Angela is about to jump off the roof).

I don't know if you're going to do any more work on this, but a cool idea would be to have the comic start in vibrant colors and slowly get dimmer to black and white at the end. You did that a bit, but maybe exaggerate it more, or save it for a future comic.

Either way, great work!

  Crap!

Oh crap, it's over!

Very nicely done, Buckett. I wish I had half your skills with a mouse. I really liked the flashback-narrative style and the random colour touches.

For the record, I called the suicide thing...
